Number 1 breakfast lunch spot ! This place is the cutest thing in the whole world. I have not found any place like this before. The whole atmosphere is adorable decor is amazing. Service was great and the food was very delicious. Plates are a little small for the price. Lots of options though and lots of dessert options! Many drinks are great! This was all from experience on a weekday early when there wasn’t much a crowd. I have heard in weekends it gets very busy.

This place is absolutely adorable and the food is incredible. George and Chris really took care of us. We were impressed by both the sweet and savory options. We dropped in from out of town and will definitely be back at Pistachio next time we are in New Haven. Gorgeous decor and even better food, plus kind and prompt service :)

Fine dine!! A must visit !! Pretty affordable for the luxuries inside and good food (Desserts and Smoothies) I’ve ever eaten around. Aloha Food Lovers and Aesthetic Enthusiasts! If you’re in New Haven like me and haven’t visited Pistachio Cafe 2 yet, you’re truly missing out! This fine dining spot strikes the perfect balance between luxury and affordability, offering an unforgettable experience that goes beyond just food. The desserts and smoothies here are nothing short of divine quite honestly, the best I’ve had around. The Pistachio Cake is a masterpiece of flavor and texture, while the Three Cheese Grilled Cheese Panini is my comfort food, that elevated to a whole new level tonight. Every bite feels like a celebration of taste my friends.. But the magic doesn’t stop at the menu. The ambiance, including their bathroom .. yes, the bathroom, (check the pictures and videos) is a work of art. It’s rare to find a place where even the smallest details are curated so thoughtfully. Trust me, you’ll find yourself marveling at it all loved it to the core. Whether you’re here for the food, the vibes, or simply to treat yourself, Pistachio Cafe or 2, is a must-visit. (I personally prefer Cafe 2 It’s not just a meal.. it’s an experience worth savoring. You’ll love it for sure.

We decided to organize a trip to New Haven to visit local family owned businesses. My group of 22 people were all pleased with the amazing customer service and delicious drinks and treats. We didn’t feel like we were sitting at a fine dined restaurant, it felt like we were at home! Such a welcoming environment and the decor was the cherry on top.

I recently visited Pistachio Cafe for a friend's birthday brunch, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Our hostesses, Ellie and Nazli, were absolutely amazing. As a surprise, they even gave us a complimentary birthday dessert plate for the birthday girl! The food was delicious, and was perfectly prepared. It was the perfect place to celebrate, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

Imagine if a Parisian patisserie had a fever dream after binge-watching both Arabian Nights and The Great Gatsby, then decided to set up shop in New Haven. That's Pistachio Cafe in all its flamboyant, excessive splendor. This place doesn't just break the minimalism rule book; it throws it out a mint-green coffered ceiling window while riding a decorative camel. The decor is what you'd get if Vegas decided to open a tea room: chandeliers dripping with crystal, enough hanging fake plants to make a botanical garden jealous, and furniture that looks like it was stolen from Marie Antoinette's summer home. The ornate Arabic calligraphy on the walls somehow works perfectly with the Victorian-era tufted velvet seating, because why choose one era when you can have them all? But here's the thing, beneath all this wild design chaos, they're actually serving up some decent stuff. The matcha lattes are on pt, proving you can judge a book by its cover if that cover happens to be wrapped in gold leaf and sprinkled with rose petals. Their display cases are a treasure trove of Middle Eastern sweets and European pastries that would make any dessert influencer's camera roll explode. Speaking of their baklava, it's not just baklava, it's baklava that's had a glow-up. The rose version should come with a drag show warning label: "May cause spontaneous poetry writing and excessive use of the word 'divine.'" The whole experience is like being transported to some fantastic alternate universe where maximalism won the design wars and every coffee break feels like you're having tea with a cosmopolitan aunt who has "stories" from her travels abroad. It's camp meets class, and somehow, in the grit of New Haven, it absolutely works. Pro tip: Come for the 'gram, stay for the matcha, and embrace the fact that subtlety is so 2023. This is where Marie Antoinette would totally grab her coffee if she were alive and living in Connecticut, and honestly, she'd probably think they could add more gold trim. Fair warning: You might leave with an overwhelming urge to install a chandelier in your kitchen. Don't fight it. This place has that effect on people.
